Once again my mind goes pack to those golden days in 2008 when then candidate Obama, promised the American, people that his would be a more honest and transparent presidency. The President has had his share of embarrassments lately. First, there was Hilary Rosen's thoughtless comment saying, that Ann Romney, never worked a day in her life.Secondly, the GSA spending scandal broke. Third, David Axelrod, seems to be backing Mitt Romney, for President, because, he said he didn't want an economy that keeps him on the path we're on, I sure President Obama, really appreciates that! Finally, it seems the Presidents Secret Service, was caught receiving a service I'll bet they wish was still a secret.
I realize, politics and corruption are nothing new and they often go together like cookies and milk, peanut butter and jelly, or Democrats, and tax increases. President Obama, promised the American people that he would not conduct business as usual in Washington. Funny, it sure seems the same to me. President Obama, promised he would not take money from so called lobbyist. The New York Times, reported recently, that at least 15 lobbyist have raised money for President Obama's reelection campaign to the tune of some five million dollars but whose counting.
I know that President Obama, is not the first President, to break a political election promise, nor is he the first president that's had to deal with one or more moral scandals and he won't be the last, this latest situation with the Secret Service however combined with the spending scandal involving the GSA is just so blatant so in you face as it were that it almost seems as though he is saying to the American, people "So, what are you going to do about it?" A question I hope will be dealt with and soundly, answered with the November, election. As always my friends, these thoughts remain just, some words, to think on.
